DAY 33-34: MONKEYS, MONKEYS, & MORE MONKEYS

...Oh my!...

...we have seen so much in these last two days that it will be difficult to post as before, so decided to submit by wildlife seen thus far...there will no doubt be more varieties of species on our five-day four-night safari in the Maasai Mara but this will be a good representation of what we saw in the Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha area this weekend...

...beginning with my all time favourites (apart from the big cats that is)...

...MONKEYS & BABOONS...

...firstly,the black and white Colobus Monkey...
...our guide said that sadly they are hunted by poachers for their beautiful fur...

...next, the Vervet Monkey...
...most plentiful variety in the Lake Nakuru area...

...and last but certainly not least,
the Olive Baboon...
...many of then hanging out at Baboon Cliff...

...as Francois had to remind me...forget the baboons for a minute will you please, there`s a beautiful view from the cliff...

...constant grooming...

...such a cute little face...

...just after I snapped these two playing around they both fell off the drum...

...great way to get around if you`re small...

...they own the roads...

...and this pretty much says it all...
